I am just too excited about today's post! Over the last two years, I've had the pleasure of becoming friends with Lauren Kapeluck of Crave. Indulge. Satisfy. Lauren is one of our talented contributors and she inspires us each month with her incredible cupcake recipes (Did you spot her Creamsicle Cupcake recipe yesterday? Oh my deliciousness!) I was over the moon for Lauren when she was expecting her first child... and I can hardly believe an entire year has flown by already. Now Lauren's sweet little Sam has turned one. And knowing Lauren, there was no doubt that Sam's 1st birthday party would be utterly adorable. With a cheerful color scheme mixed with oodles of bowties and mustaches, this first birthday bash was beyond perfect for Lauren's little guy. Today's feature is seriously so gorgeous, you're going to fall. in. love. Head over heels! You probably remember Storey's 1st birthday... a glittery gold and pink party that we featured last year. You all loved it so much, it was one of the most popular posts of 2012! Well if it is possible, Storey's 2nd birthday is even more beautiful. Confetti, balloons and all of the birthday girl's favorite things are brought together in shades of pink and red. Impeccable styling by Storey's mother, Ashley of Ashley Nicole Events, is paired with a spectacular cake and desserts by Rachael Teufel, of Intricate Icings Cake Design. Grab your axes because we're about to get chopping! Today's featured party is overflowing with creativity, thoughtful details and rustic manly-man charm. A perfect combination of axes and wood, served up with a giant portion of burly fun. It's a lumberjack inspired party that is definitely more gorgeous than gruff. Red flannel plaid and craft paper brown unite while a bold birch tree backdrop sets the scene. So brawny-chic! With maple-infused goodies, oodles of pancakes and a sprinkling of bacon, this party is ready for the hungriest of logger men.
