What will it be? What will it be? When you're expecting a child, that's the top question on everyone's mind. And today's feature is a thoughtful baby shower for a mom who chose to wait until the big day to find out. Building on the suspense, her family celebrated with a bright shower filled with fresh yellows and adorable bee details. It comes to us from Noelle Nielsen of Fishtale Photography who teamed up with Laurie Pyle of Cocoa & Fig to create this charming dessert display. Lovable bees buzz about a table filled to the brim with gorgeous goodies, ridiculously cute onsie cookies, and a sweet beehive cake. Hold on to your hats because today's adorable baby shower is sure to blow you away! Up, Up and Away, that is! When I first received a note from Jessica Harris about this event... I knew it would be good! We've had the pleasure to ooh and awe over Jessica's cakes in the past (see them here). She is an incredible cake designer who also happens to be part of a family of artistic women! So what happens when a talented graphic designer (Kim Harris), cake designer (Jessica Harris) and photographer (Jamie Zanotti) come together to welcome a new baby girl into the family? My husband and I hosted a co-ed baby shower for our friends, Ted and Meredith, in honor of their newly adopted son, Colin. It's been almost a year since my love affair with sock monkeys first began. Do you remember the KIA commercial from last year’s Super Bowl – the one that featured life size versions of the Yo Gabba Gabba gang and a sock monkey? Well, my husband was infatuated with that commercial! My favorite part was the sock monkey. The rest is history. Today's Real Party is modern, chic and just SEW cute! This sewing themed baby shower was created by Casey of Paper+Twine for her sister Morgan who has a passion for sewing.
