I swear I can hear the berries calling my name and luckily, the U-pick is a 5 minute drive from my house. We pick as many strawberries as we possibly can, freeze most of them and just eat the rest like candy. Oh, and maybe have strawberry shortcake once or fifteen times.I am fortunate that your U-pick also has raspberries and blueberries, so we pick those once the strawberries are done. Nothing tastes as good as a warm, just-picked strawberry though.
