These looked awesome, but I followed the recipe exactly like it is posted and they turned out way too sour. I’m not sure why. The icing was fantastic, but I had to throw the cupcakes out. I have never messed up cupcakes before so I’m not sure what it was.

Thank you so much for posting this recipe! It was a ton of fun to make and they came out amazing. They got rave reviews from everyone and looked great both as cupcakes and in the mason jars. These are definitely my new favorite summer cupcake! 🙂
