Mundinator and Ao-Chris jump into PlayStation Home with the Fans

A Special thanks goes out to all our fans who jumped into the PlaySation Home event this week. We enjoyed answering all your thoughtful and funny questions about Fat Princess, and then jumping in to  games for a few rounds of Capture the Princess.

We had a total blast round after round in numerous 32-player games, playing with Co-Op and all the new classes.  Thanks for all your support in creating such a fantastically fun event for fans and for our team. Fat Princess is still in the PlayStation Network TOP-TEN almost 1 year after initial release – let’s see if we can keep the momentum going! Do all your friends have Fat Roles?

- Ao

These events are so great for bringing the devs and fans together. I hope you guys can have another event like this in the future. I'll be sure to clear my schedule! What's so great about med school anyway? :P

I really want to do another event, but we will wait until all this crashing is fixed. PS Home was miserable.

Even though I wasn't there, I want to say thanks. You guys are great developers for doing things like this. I'm glad you seemed to enjoy it, Mundy. It makes me wonder why don't more developers do this kind of thing.

And I love the way you implemented your DLC so I can still play with people who don't have it. I hope it catches on in the FPS universe.

And and dang, I'm sad I missed out on this.

No one could connect to Home for more than a few minutes as far as I know.
You should definitely play some Devs. vs. Fans game after the crashes and freezes are fixed! I'm sure everyone here would be super excited to play you guys.

I would love to participate next time it is scheduled. I swear I thought it was thursday(today) so I missed it without even knowing. :(

I do love that the developers are willing to play their game off of work and with actual players, people of the community. It really makes a good connection and better understanding, as a whole, for the community and developer relationship.

I would really like to get someone that can tape/record/screencap the matches vs the dev(s) for history's sake. :)

Would be awesome if we got to play against 16 "devs" (doubt there's that many actual programmers and designers, but possibly filled in with other employees), them going up against each clan one at a time.

I missed this too, as I was camping. Why does nobody else do this kind of thing? Because FP is god tier and thusly it's creators are god-god tier. It's impossible for them not to do stuff like this, just as the opposite it true of everyone else!

Well, Mundi, I, as SHALABAMA, was one of the first arrivals there. And I was among those first people that you've added to FL. But I wasn't able to join your game because of the connection issues. Please try to understand me — I was awake till 4 AM to play with developers, and then wasn't able to join because of this stupid P2P connection. It was so frustrating!

Now I know that Ao has no solution ready for that. And I don't blame it or something. I just want to say that the game you've managed to create as a team is awesome. But with all those annoying things... It's sometimes very frustrating to not be able to play in clanbattles of big events just because of this connection issues.

Please tell us where we must go or to whom we must speak to help Sony realize that they need to help to produce Fat Princess 2, and this new title gotta have dedicated servers, and that people will be able to pay for it — hell I am ready to pay additional 15-20$ a year for this!

You devs are too cool for school for battling with us that night. I was the one talking too much and asking the most absurb questions I could think of... And maybe a relevant question here and there.

I would love to attend more events like that! Why isn't there a Fat Princess mailing list? Or is there, and I'm just oblivious?

Anyways, there's something different about you folks at Ao....... something spectacular! I think Ao is going to start a new trend in games.
